The worry in Cleveland was that LeBron James was going to take off and join the Western Conference, perhaps the Los Angeles Lakers. So owner Dan Gilbert, in a flurry of activity at the trade deadline, brought the Western Conference and the Los Angeles Lakers to Cleveland in order to play with LeBron.
